Evolutionary Cell Biology and Genomics

Our lab is focused on the diversity and evolution of eukaryotic cells, including their organelles,  endosymbionts, and parasitic interactions. We study a wide range of microbial eukaryotes ('protists'), and employ a similarly broad set of approaches, including comparative genomics, proteomics, molecular biology, biochemistry, and phylogenetics.
